Zelma Levador Vickers (Spradlin) Conger

Mrs. Zelma Levador Spradlin Vickers Conger 94 of Tifton, passed away Friday, April 14, 2023 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Eastside Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Keith Norris officiating and the interment will follow at Oakridge Cemetery in Tifton.  The family will receive friends on Monday evening, April 17, 2023 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Albritton Funeral Directors.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Zelma was born November 24, 1928 in Irwin County to the late James (J.G.) Grady and Evie Leola Hester Spradlin. She was a retired Supervisor for Oxford Manufacturing. During her life, she enjoyed sewing and reading. In her younger years, she was very active in the church at Eastside Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. Mrs. Conger was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Vickers, and her second husband, Joe Stephens Conger, her five brothers; Evender (Bill) Spradlin, Cline Spradlin, and Travis Spradlin, H. G. Spradlin, Wayne Spradlin, five sisters; Blanch Day, Florence Walls, and Flora Baldree, Fannie Bell Rowe, Elouise Brown and one grandson, Kenneth Sumner

Survivors include her children: Gene and Rhonda Vickers of Crestview, Florida, Linda and Don Sumner of Brookfield, Georgia, Larry Vickers of Nashville, Georgia, Renee and Byron Courtoy of Tifton, Georgia, Stepdaughter, Brenda and Bill Plymel of Adel, Georgia, brother and sister-in-law; H.L. and Kay Spradlin of Tifton, Georgia. Seven Grandchildren, Gerald Sumner, Marie Taylor, Jamie Sumner, Marsha Edenfield Pritchard, Lee Fulghum, Joe Fulghum, Martin Vickers; Seventeen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made in her memory to Eastside Baptist Church, 1489 Old Ocilla Road, Tifton, Georgia 31794
