William Everett Dean Jr.

William “Bill” Everett Dean, Jr. of Tifton died Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at the Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia.
A memorial service with interment will be held at Macedonia Baptist Church on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Glenn Ford officiating.
Mr. Dean was born on February 05, 1947 to the late William Sr. and Frances Reeves Dean in Dawson Georgia.
Mr. Dean was previously employed by Textile Mills as a supervisor, Modern Fibers and later Dixie Oil Company. He was a true son of the south. He loved history and he collected historical artifacts. He attended Calvary Baptist Church. One of his favorite Bible verses was Timothy 4:7, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”
In addition to his wife, Tammy Beck Dean, Mr. Dean is survived by three children; William Bennett Dean of Madison WS, Clinton Everett Dean of Sumner, and Amanda Lynn Dean of Fitzgerald, one grandchild; William Griffett Dean, and two sisters; Sue Carol Nolan of Tifton and Kathy Ann Dean of Tifton.
He was preceded in death by two brothers; Isaac Dean and Nicholas Dean and his daughter, Joye Michele Dean who died April 17, 1988.
