William Jackson Brewer, Sr.

William Jackson Brewer, Sr., 89, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia.

A Memorial service will be held Sunday, March 31st at 2:00 p.m. in chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. Tommy Kegebein officiating. Eulogy will be given by William Jackson Brewer, Jr.

Mr. Brewer was born December 29, 1929, in Hazlehurst, Georgia to the late Eddie Brewer and Jessie Hester Brewer. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Janice Perry Brewer who died September 3, 2018; along with five daughters; one son; two brothers and one sister. He worked as a green’s keeper for the Springhill Country Club Golf Course for about thirty years. Everyone who met him loved him. He was a wonderful Dad who loved playing his Guitar and playing golf.

Mr. Brewer is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Daphne and Tommy Kegebein of Tifton; two sons, William J. Brewer, Jr. and Connie of Griffin, Georgia and Gary Brewer of Tifton; twenty-one grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; his brother, James Brewer of Gainesville, Fl.
