William Andrew "Andy" McCall

William Andrew “Andy” McCall of Fitzgerald, formerly of Tifton, died Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Dorminy Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel at Albritton Funeral Directors with the Rev. John Hughes officiating. Interment will follow at Oakridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Wayne Braswell, Kenneth Braswell, David Hart, Davey Hart, Mark Braswell and Scott Denham will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. McCall was born October 22, 1946, in Tift County to the late Travis Moses and Colleen Rigdell McCall.

Mr. McCall received his Bachelors degree in Economics from Valdosta State University. He was the chief financial officer for Dixie Oil Corporation for 20 years and later worked as a patient financial services analyst with Tift Regional Medical Center. He enjoyed reading, walking, Georgia Bulldog football and especially his church. As a member of the First Baptist Church of Tifton, Mr. McCall taught Sunday school for many years and was a member of the Joyful Sound Choir.

In addition to his parents, Mr. McCall was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Braswell  McCall, who died November 13, 2013, his brother, Thomas McCall and his sister Florence Rankin.

Mr. McCall is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Kevin Andrew McCall of Tifton and Christopher and Jennifer McCall of Johns Creek, Georgia; and two grandchildren, Sophia McCall and William McCall.

Flowers will be accepted or donation to the Alzheimer’s Association 225 2nd St. East Tifton, Ga. 31794.
