Wesley James Robbie, 53, passed away on June 22, 2023, at his residence in Jackson, Georgia after a prolonged illness. A private ceremony for family will be held at a later date.

Robbie was born in a military hospital in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, on December 1, 1969.

He grew up in Miami, Florida, where his grand – parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Robbie, started and owned the Miami Dolphins football franchise, and in Vermillion, South Dakota, where his parents, Jana Robbie Cone and Joseph Michael Robbie, attended the University of South Dakota.

Later, Robbie’s family moved to Tifton, Georgia where he attended middle school through high school.

After high school, Robbie joined the United States Marine Corps and served overseas in Desert Storm. While in the Marines, Robbie served in a Military Police Unit and earned several marksmanship medals and badges.

Robbie was honorably discharged from the Marine Corp in 1993. He became an avid gun collector and trained others about gun use and gun safety.

Robbie ultimately moved to Jackson, GA. where he studied as an electrician. He earned his Electrical Contractor’s License, and then owned and operated the Eagle Eye Electric Company for many years.

He is greatly missed by his much-loved dog, Elvy, and his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Jana Robbie Cone, of Tifton, GA; his aunt Debra Robbie of Minneapolis, MN; his Uncle, Danny Robbie of Miami, FL; his cousin Troy Maloy and his wife Sherri of Griffin, GA; his niece Alex and her Husband, Quinton Young, of Navarre, FL; his niece Sidney Maloy of Midway, GA; his Aunt, Deena Fine, of Greenville, SC; his aunt Donna Fine, of Gatlinburg, TN; his step-sister, Amanda Cone Schieving of Jacksonville, FL; his great aunt, Helen Wiley of Griffin, GA; his birth father Lynn Wesley Fine and his wife Vicki of Apopka, FL.

Robbie was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Michael Robbie of Miami, FL and Minneapolis, MN; his maternal grandparents, Lonnie and Margaret Davis of Tifton, GA; his paternal grandparents, Elizabeth and Joseph Robbie of Miami, FL; his uncle Kevin Robbie of Miami, FL; his step-father, Norman Cone of Tifton, GA; his aunt, Lucrecia Davis of Tifton, GA; and his great aunt and uncle, Sara and Ed Davis of Tifton, GA.
