Habumwete Tresor Banani, a dedicated school teacher at Skyline Schools in Phoenix, Arizona, has sadly passed away at his residence. He was born on February 12, 1987, in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Our Divine Saviour Catholic Church with Father Peter Oyenugba officiating. Interment will follow at Oakridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 17, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Albritton Funeral Directors.
Habumwete was known for his passion for teaching underprivileged children, leaving a positive impact on the lives of many. With a Bachelor's degree in hand, he tirelessly worked to inspire and educate his students, shaping the minds of the future generation.
Outside of his professional life, Habumwete was a sports enthusiast. When he was with his brothers, Desire and Aster Banani, sports talk filled the air. He particularly enjoyed watching football and had a love for basketball since his middle school days.
Habumwete will be dearly missed by his surviving family and friends including his father, Barnabe Banani Miburo, his mother, Mwingi Ida Lomami, his sisters Shanga Banani and Mallie Banani. Despite the sorrow felt at his passing, those who knew Habumwete will hold onto cherished memories of him forever.
