Timothy Virgil Branch

Timothy Virgil Branch, 67, of Tifton passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held Monday, February 19th at 3:00 p.m. in Oakridge Cemetery with Dr. Wayne Roe officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home before the service.

Pallbearers will be Bill Foster, Strickland Holloway, Randall Waldrop, Irvin Branch, Jr., Freddie Walker and Richard Golden.

Mr. Branch was born August 15, 1950 in Tift County to the late Virgil Branch and Margie Ree Waldrop Branch. He was married to Judy Barkuloo Branch for forty-four years. Mr. Branch was a member of First Baptist Church of Tifton and owner of The Farmer’s Agency in Ashburn. He had lived in Tifton most of his life and a 1968 graduate of Tift County High School, attended ABAC and later received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Insurance from the University of Georgia in 1973. He was previously the owner of Branch Insurance Agency in Tifton. He enjoyed running, playing tennis and lifting weights.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Jackson Timothy Branch of Tifton; two sisters, Sandra Barnhardt of Tifton and Vivian Rowland of Baxley; several nieces and nephews.
