Mrs. Thelma Harris Clark, 80, of Tifton passed away Monday, February 1, 2021 at South Georgia Medical Center.
Graveside service will be held Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in Summers Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Vernon Hughes officiating. Rev. Ricky Wells will deliver the eulogy. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Albritton Funeral Directors.
Eddie Stuckey, Jamie Purvis, Jason Harris, Erric Roberts, John Leverette, B. J. Roberts and Malachi Clark will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Clark was born December 22, 1940 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Aren Benjamin Harris and Inez Herndon Harris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sammy Rex Clark, her son, Larry Rex Clark, her daughter Debra Jean Clark, two granddaughters, Angel Clark and Samantha Clark and one sister and four brothers. She was a member of Summers Chapel Holiness Church and a self-employed house cleaner. Mrs. Clark always loved helping others and taking care of children. She was a very godly strong woman who loved the Lord. Mrs. Clark loved the mountains and was a wonderful cook.
Mrs. Clark is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Tasha Clark of Tifton; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two brothers and sister-in-law, Thomas and Wanda Harris and Ted Harris all of Tifton and two sisters and brother-in-law, Mattie Mae Bentley of Tifton and Carolyn and A. J. Roberts of Ashburn.
Albritton Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
