Teresa Carolyn Stoner

Teresa Carolyn Stoner, passed away on July 14, 2024 at Tift Regional Medical Center. 

Teresa was born on April 30, 1960 in Ocilla, Georgia to the late Edward Beauren Jacobs, Jr. and Carolyn Stephens Jacobs.

The family has held a private service.

In her career as a caregiver Teresa touched the lives of many elderly individuals with her kindness and warmth. Her passion for caring for others was truly admirable and left a lasting impact on those she helped in their time of need.

Teresa attended Berrien County High School. Alongside her professional life, Teresa cherished hobbies like watching crime shows such as I.D. as well as cooking shows. She also enjoyed fishing at Lake Eufaula and cooking. Beyond her career and hobbies, Teresa's greatest joys were found in her family. She adored her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. 

Teresa is survived by her three children, April Stoner of Clover, SC, Josh Stoner of Enigma, GA, Casey Harris of Tifton, GA; one brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Lisa Jacobs of Alapaha; one sister and brother-in-law, Freida and Dale Hall; Grandchildren, Maci Godwin, Jordan Godwin, Brayden Alsup, Jadelyn Harris, Kendall Harris, Hunter Harris, Bayleigh Harris, Maebry Harris; Great grandchildren, Londyn Godwin, Kalani Godwin, Kash McCullough, and Chloe Green.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one brother, Floyd Jacobs; and one sister, Cynthia "Cindy" Jacobs.

Teresa Carolyn Stoner's legacy of kindness and love will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends but remembered fondly for the love she shared so generously throughout her life.
