On Monday morning, July 11, 2022, Tamela “Tammy” K. Hagy entered eternal rest after a long battle with cancer. Tammy was a kind, generous, and loving mother to her three children. Everyone who had the opportunity to know Tammy fell in love with her caring and compassionate personality. Tammy owned a Commercial Cleaning Business in Tifton, Georgia in which she did business with Mastercraft, Turner’s Fine Furniture, and several others. She worked with Griffin Ford also for over 10 years. Tammy was a talented artist who loved to sketch and paint butterflies, birds, and horses. She enjoyed listening to music and spending time with her family and friends.
Tammy was proceeded in death by her son, Phillip Michael Stanley “Bud” of Tifton, Georgia, her mother, Judy Weaver of Tifton, and leaves behind her two daughters and son-in-law, Beverly Ann Manning of Tifton, Georgia, and Crystal Huckaby Carlic and Tony Carlic of South Carolina with granddaughter, Madison NeSmith. Tammy also leaves behind her brother, Michael Anderson of Tifton, Georgia, and two sisters and brother in-law, Diana and Steve Suntken of Oklahoma, and Theresa Roberts of Tifton, Georgia as well as her step-father, John Weaver of Tifton, Georgia. She had numerous nieces and nephews of whom she loved very much.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Selah Salon and Spa, in Downtown Tifton, Georgia at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, July 14th, 2022. Family, friends and all who knew and loved Tammy are welcome to attend and honor her life. A separate intimate tree planting ceremony in which Tammy and her beloved son will both be laid to rest, will take place in South Carolina on Sunday, July 17th.
