Mrs. Susie Hall “Little Granny” Gilliam, 79, of Nashville passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Tift Regional Medical Center.
The family is conducting a memorial service Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 4:00 P.M. at Willacoochee First Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Paulk officiating.
Mrs. Gilliam was born November 4, 1941 in Wayne County, Georgia to the late David R. Hall and Myrtis E. O’Neal Hall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Eugene Gilliam Sr., three sons, Mark Westberry, Michael Westberry and Glenn Cantwell; one daughter, Wanda Gray and her grandson, Ben Cantwell. Mrs. Gilliam currently attended First Baptist Church of Willacoochee and was a retired cook.
Mrs. Gilliam is survived by four daughters and son-in-law, Susan Davis of Nashville, Deborah Smith of Ludowici, Maria and Henry DeGrace of Waterford, MA, and Sandy Conn of Shelbyville, KY; two sons and daughter-in-law, David E. Gilliam, Jr. and Holly, of Perry and Anthony Gilliam and Tammy Stevens of Nashville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Alvin and Susan Hall and Joe and Harriett Hall all of Jesup, one sister Beth Grantham of Waycross and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
