Shirley Carr Haire

Shirley Carr Haire, 77, of Tifton, died Sunday, February 24, 2019, at Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. Jack Perrin officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 to 3:30 P.M. before the service on Tuesday.  The interment will follow at Tift Memorial Gardens.

Aubry Haire, Allen Haire, Carla Cooper, Teya Mullis, and Landon Haire will serve as pallbearers.

She was born on December 28, 1941, in Clewiston, Florida as the daughter of Aubrey Lee Carr and Lela Mae Bledsoe Carr. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of forty years, James Donald Haire who died in 1994, and her sister Mary Ann Maxwell.

She was a member of Tift Ave. Baptist Church.  She loved her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was an avid reader and go-cart racer.  She spent many years working in the First Baptist Church day care and working as an interpreter at the Georgia Agrirama.

She is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law; Danny and Pam Haire of Chula and David Haire of Chula, two sisters; Josephine Cornwall of Green Cove Springs, Florida and Linda Fleener of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, two grandsons and their spouses; Aubrey and Lee Haire, Allen and Kayla Haire, four great grandchildren; Abbie Haire, Landon Haire, Anniston Haire, and Charlee Haire.
