Scott Goff, 54, of Gray, went to be with his Lord and Saviour Wednesday, July 22, 2020. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Hart’s Jones County Chapel, 307 Pecan Lane, Gray, GA 31032, with the Reverend Tommy Freeman officiating. Burial services will be at the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, 1128 Salem Church Road., Tifton, GA 31794 at 3:30 PM with the Reverend Andy Ring officiating. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Scott’s son, Tanner Goff, 2150 Barnes Ferry Road, Macon, GA 31216.
Scott is predeceased by his parents, the Reverend Richard and Edwina Goff. He is survived by his son, Tanner Goff of Gray; two brothers, Arlen Goff of Macon and James Goff of Chula Vista, CA; and mother of his son, Angela Goff.
Scott was an avid lover of all sports, and passionately followed the Georgia Bulldogs and the Jones County Hounds. He was the voice of the Hounds from 2012 – 2017. Scott enthusiastically coached SWAT baseball from 2007 - 2011. Fishing was more than a hobby, he loved bass fishing.
Scott enjoyed 80’s Rock music and was the Master of 80’s rock trivia. He was exceedingly proud of his “Salesman of the Month” accomplishment at Walsh Honda in June of this year.
Graveside services at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery are being handled by Albritton Funeral Directors.
