Mrs. Majeski was born December 12, 1931 in Brookfield to the late Howard Davis and Mollie Hayes Davis. She graduated from Valdosta State College and was an elementary school teacher for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Tifton where she loved her Sunday school class.
Our Mother was love – a verb. She was love in action. She cared deeply not only for family but for all those who suffered. Her greatest joy was rocking babies and she loved Coca Colas, the Tifton Gazette and visiting with family and friends.
Mrs. Majeski is survived by her daughters, Dottie and John Bassett, Sue Majeski and Beth and Dennis Daniel all of Tifton; her grandchildren, Hank and Tanya Majeski, Curt and Lindsey Majeski, Brittany and Brock Jones, Elizabeth O’Rear, Daisy and Stuart Taylor and Taylor Miller; great grandchildren Charly Majeski, Winston Henry, Johanna Majeski, Aubrey Majeski, Jacob Jones, Addilyn Jones and Walker O’Rear; two daughters-in-law Jan Majeski of Sylvester and Connie Majeski of Ashburn. Sara was loved by many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to Janie Whitley and the staff of Legacy Village. She will be missed by her friend Martha Nell Branch.
Her last year of life was a happy one complete with family and friends visiting. When not busy with activities at Legacy, she loved chatting with special friends, Isabelle White and June Boyette.
