Santos Hernandez Coronada

Mr. Santos Hernandez Coronado, 75, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at his residence in Omega.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 14, in Our Divine Savior Catholic Church, with Father Peter Oyenugba officiating. Interment will follow at the Omega Cemetery.  A Rosary will be held from 6:00 - 6:30 P.M. on Friday evening, followed by visitation from 6:30 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mr. Hernandez was born on July 7, 1944 in Noriega Nuevo Leon, Mexico to the late Ernesto Hernandez and Martina Coronado. He is survived by his wife, Paula Vargas Hernandez of Omega; three daughters Reyna Pecina of Kentucky, Francisca Hernandez of Omega, and Joanna Medina of Omega; two sons Isidro Hernandez of Eldorado and Horasio Hernandez of Omega; four brothers, two sisters and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He attended Our Divine Savior Catholic Church in Tifton. Mr. Hernandez loved his family and was an extremely hard worker.  His passion was raising his roosters. He was loved and respected in his community.  Mr. Santos enjoyed socializing and attending parties. He was very optimistic about life, even during his long illness.
