Sandra Lynn (Branch) Barnhardt

Sandra Lynn Branch Barnhardt, 75 of Tifton passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 29 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m. before the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Barnhardt was born June 18, 1942 in Tift County to the late Virgil Branch and Margie Ree Waldrop Branch. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Timothy Virgil Branch who died February, 2018. Mrs. Barnhardt graduated Tift County High School and later ABAC. She was a retired nurse and caregiver. She Loved her family and her dogs, Ozzy and Boogie. Mrs. Barnhardt was an outspoken person, and she lived life to the fullest. She was strong willed, independent and determined.

Mrs. Barnhardt is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Frank L. “Bud” and Rose Barnhardt of Tifton; one daughter, Melissa “Missy” Whiddon of Savannah; three grandchildren, Haley Lindsey Barnhardt, Gregory Drexel Whiddon, Jr. and Austin Lynwood Whiddon; one great grandchild, Nolan Scott Phillips; one sister, Vivian Rowland of Baxley;one sister-in-law, Judy B. Branch of Tifton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity.
