Sandra (Newbern) Baldree

Mrs. Sandra Newbern Baldree, 73, of Tifton passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 15, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. Kevin Dawson officiating. Interment will follow in Beulah Holiness Baptist Church in Cook County. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Jacob Marsh, Nathan Baldree, Clay Smallwood, Colin Newbern, Keith Baldree, Josh Reynolds and Tony Baldree will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Baldree was born December 17, 1947 in Cook County to the late Roy Willard Newbern and Thelma Inez Roberts Newbern. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Malcolm Newbern and Raymond Newbern. Mrs. Baldree was a member of Tift Avenue Church of God and was retired from Tift Regional Medical Center. She had lived in Tifton since 1982. Her family was the center of her life and her happiest times were when she was near them. She shared a special love for her grandchildren. Miss Sandra was an excellent cook and shared her many recipes with her family and friends. She was a lady of faith and active in the church’s where she was involved with teaching Sunday Schools and singing in the choir. She loved to travel especially to the beach.

Mrs. Baldree is survived by her husband Horace Franklin Baldree of Tifton to whom she was married for fifty-four years; her daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and John Kofler of St. Augustine, Florida; her two sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Lisa Holstein Baldree of St. Augustine, Florida and J.J. and Shannon Baldree of Navarre Beach, Florida; her grandchildren, Jacob Marsh, Hannah Marsh, Emilee Riggs, Abigail Predmore, Ethan Baldree, Vanessa Catoggio, Amelia Baldree, Caitlin Baldree, Haley Baldree and Nathan Baldree; one great grandchild, Laurel Lake Predmore. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted.
