Robert Earl Davis

Robert Earl Davis, 58, of Chula passed away on November 19, 2018 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held Friday, November 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at Oakridge Cemetery with Rev. Jay Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in Oakridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home before the services on Friday, November 23rd.

David Brinson, Jason Tronnes, Chris Whitley, Roy Wallace, Steve Watson, Jimmy Duncan, Mike Shaw, Raymond Womack and Joe Lane will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Davis was born August 8, 1960 in Bibb County to the late Walter Edward Davis and Nellie Irene Chapman Davis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Bernice Peavy. Mr. Davis attended Macedonia Baptist Church. He was self-employed brick mason. He had lived in Tift County most of his life. He loved animals, especially his dogs and potbellied pigs. Mr. Davis enjoyed the outdoors and feeding his fish. He always liked to stay busy and work hard.

Mr. Davis is survived by his niece, Valerie and Jack Nipper of Perry, Georgia; his great niece, Kiara Peavy of Perry; special friends and caregivers, Nina Shaw, David and Melissa Brinson.
