Rhonda Kaye (Morgan) Stokes

Rhonda Kaye Morgan Stokes, 55 of Tifton died Friday, March 11, 2022 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center in Moultrie.

A memorial service will be held on Monday evening March 14, 2022 at 6:00 P.M. at the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. Allen Morgan and Rev. Stacy Phillips officiating.  The visitation will follow the service.

Rhonda was born on September 15, 1966 in Omaha, Nebraska to Kaye Shadoin Morgan and the late Ronnie Green Morgan.  In addition to her Dad, she was preceded in death by her brother Keith Morgan and her life partner, Starr Boehnke.

Rhonda was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Tifton and a Tift County High School graduate.  During her life she had many jobs including working at Tift Regional Medical Center as a Licensed Practical Nurse, being a nanny for Nancy Lopez the professional golfer, para-pro at Tift County Schools and a sitter for the elderly and disabled.  She was a very loving, caring person who always made those around her feel special and loved.  She did not like gossip and she loved everyone unconditionally. She loved her children and they described her as having a servant’s heart.

Along with her mother, she is survived by her children Holden Morgan-Stokes of Tifton, Austin Stokes of the U. S. Army and her sister Candice Johnson of Douglas.
