Rev. Brantley Seymour

Rev. Wilbur Brantley “Bunky” Seymour, 81, of Tifton died Friday, April 21, 2023 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, April 24, 2023 in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. Rocky Carrington officiating. Mr. Guy Haynes will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow at Lawrence Cemetery with military honors rendered. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at the funeral home.

Rev. Seymour’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Rev. Seymour was born March 17, 1942 in Tift County to the late James B. Seymour and Hazel Spinks Seymour. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Rigsby, four brothers, Bobby Seymour, Clarius Seymour, Randall Seymour and Stanley Seymour and his sister, Jimmie Ruth Bush. Rev. Seymour was a member of Vanceville Congregational Christian Church where he was the former Minister. He was a graduate of Tift County High School and was self-employed as the owner Seymour's Ice Cream Truck. He was a member of the Army National Guard. He loved his family and enjoyed cooking for his children and grandchildren, working in his yards and doing God’s work.

Rev. Seymour is survived by his wife, Brenda Kay Robinson Seymour, his children, Keelie and Craig Goodman, David and Jody Seymour, Lynn Seymour and Jessica Copeland all of Tifton; fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and son-in-law, Keith Rigsby.
