Reba Joyce (Butler) Green

Reba Joyce (Butler) Green of Tifton, GA passed from this life on May 9, 2024 of natural causes. She lived a long and full life and passed at 93 years of age. Reba grew up in Paint Rock Valley, AL. She was working as an operator for the phone company when she met the love of her life, Donald Lee Green, and they married in August 1951. They began their married life in Chattanooga, TN but within a year after they had their oldest child they relocated to Tifton and built a great life together. Reba was a homemaker for many years, but when her children were older and in school, she went to work for McDonald's on 12th Street. She became the biscuit lady. Reba had several loyal customers that stopped by often for one of Ms. Reba's homemade biscuits. Reba was Baptist by faith and she loved her precious Savior, Jesus Christ. 

Funeral Services with be held Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the Chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Reverend Andy Ring officiating. Interment following directly after the service at Oakridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. at the funeral home before the service.

Pallbearers will be Colby Chung, Mac Johnson, Steven Green, Scott Green, Reed Hall, and Matt Bridges.

Donald preceded Reba in death by many years, but she held true to the love they shared until she passed. Reba was also preceded in death by her eldest child, a son, Steven Randall (Randy) Green; her parents Albert and Gertha Butler; brothers - Glenford, Herbert, Hobert, Milton, and Clyde Butler; and sisters - Clara Mae Butler, Myrtle Page, and Olive Kennamer. 

Reba is survived by her daughters Lisa Chung and Patricia Johnson (Sonny), and her daughter-in-law Ruth Green (Randy). Grandchildren are Steven Green (Tracy), Stephanie Green, Colby Chung (Amanda), Scott Green, Kristen Hall (Reed), Layne Bridges (Matt), and Mackenzie Johnson (Madeline). Great-grandchildren are Elizabeth and Steven Green III; Addison and Brodie Moreland; Wyatt and Austin Green; Grayson and Eason Chung; Hayes, Branynn, and Banks Hall; and Royce Bridges. Reba was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
