Patricia "Patsy" Ann (Pogue) Keen

Mrs. Patricia “Patsy” Pogue Keen, 72, of Tifton went home to be with her heavenly father on Friday, November 19, 2021 at her residence.

Graveside funeral services will be held at Oakridge Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 with Rev. Landon Alberson officiating.  The family will receive friends on Monday evening Albritton Funeral Directors from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.

Melvin Mathis, Tommy Newton, John Bowers, Christian Avant, Austin Avant, Mason Avant, Peyton Meeks and Keenan Webb will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Keen was born January 11, 1949 in Tifton to the late Mattie Bell “Pat” Brady Pogue. In addition to her Mother, she was preceded in death by her husband of forty-nine years, James Gary Keen who died May 7, 2019.

Mrs. Patsy was born and spent most of her life in Tift county where she made her family the center of her life.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.  Thanksgiving and Christmas were her favorite times of the year.  She would sometimes leave her Christmas decorations up year-round.  She loved traveling and she had traveled many places in the United States and around the world.  She especially enjoyed taking cruises with her family and friends.  She was a wonderful homemaker and, in her forties, she returned to college and became a registered nurse.  She also worked many years with her husband, Gary at their carpet store South Georgia Floor Covering

Mrs. Keen is survived by her children, Angela “JoJo” Keen and Amanda Marshall, Shauna Keen Webb and Mikey, Tiffany Keen Avant all of Tifton and Jamie Keen and Erin Gaughran of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; her grandchildren, Austin and Katie Avant, Christian Avant, Keenan Webb, Walker Meeks, Mason Avant, Peyton Meeks, Kenslee Ann Webb, Kade Keen, Kyleigh Keen and her best friends who she considered family, John and Jennifer Bowers.
