Ottis Stone

Ottis Stone, 77, of Enigma died Sunday, June 18, 2017 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 2pm in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. Mark Stone and Rev. Kevin Stone officiating. Interment will follow at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church cemetery in Berrien County. The Stone family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 20 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.

Terry Tatum, Ricky Tucker, Dewey Smith, Luis Davis, Kyle Stone, Justin Stone and Clay Stone will serve as pallbearers. Jerry Whitley, Bobby Metts, Willy Heath, Bud Tucker, Larry Railey and Bobby Sumner will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Mr. Stone was born in Berrien County on September 22, 1939 to the late Dewey and Ethel Brogdon Stone. He served in the U.S. Army and was married to Linda Jean Stone. Mr. Stone loved the Lord and was a member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in Berrien County. He was an expert fisherman, and enjoyed Atlanta Braves baseball, and the Georgia Bulldogs. After retiring from Tifton Aluminum as an accountant, he enjoyed farming. Mr. Stone loved his family and especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Stone is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Kim and Greg Davis of Kelltown and Ann Warren of Willacoochee; one son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Liz Stone of Enigma; six grandchildren, Amber Davis, Brian Davis, Karmon Warren, Eric Stone, Patrick Stone and Katie Stone; and one brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Barbara Stone of Enigma.

Mr. Stone was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Keisha Ann Warren.
