Norma Lynn Cranford Benter, 65, of Tifton passed away Saturday, April 07, 2018 at her residence in Tifton.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Zion Ministries in Engima on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 with Rev. Marvin Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Pineridge Missionary Baptist Church cemetery in Enigma. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Albritton Funeral Directors.
Luke Strouse, Ches Mangham, Jamie Griffin, Rex Pearce, Stefan Foremes and Delvin Benter will serve as pallbearers.
Lynn was born June 6, 1952, in Tift County to the late Leon Cranford, Sr. and Norma Connell Cranford. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dale Benter who died March 15, 2009, one sister Latrelle Cranford and one brother W. L. Cranford.
Lynn attended Mt. Zion Ministries in Engima. She was a homemaker who loved cooking, being a mom and wife, making crafts with her signature heart on each one and preparing for Christmas which was her favorite time of the year.
She is survived by one daughter; Courtney Lynn Benter of Tifton, one son; Christopher Michael Benter of New Port Richey, FL, one sister; Iris Cranford Harbin and husband Ronald of Enigma, and one brother, Ken Cranford and wife Pam of Jacksonville, FL
