Nina (Storey) Shaw

Mrs. Nina Storey Shaw, 67, of Tifton passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at her son’s residence.

A graveside service will be held Friday, September 17, 2021 at 4:00 P.M. at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Corey Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Albritton Funeral Directors.

Ryan Shaw, Jason Shaw, Spencer Brydon, David King, Randall Nipper and Jantzen Irwin will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Shaw was born October 24, 1953 in Tift County to the late James Crawford Storey and Gladys Viola Turner Storey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis Eugene “Gene” Shaw who died June 21, 2015 and her brothers, Ben Storey, Arthur Storey and David Storey. Mrs. Shaw was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Tifton and had lived in Tift County most of her life where attended Tift County Schools. She was a master florist and worked in the florist industry for many years. Nina loved her family and was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved to cook and always wanted to share her cooking with other people. Nina loved to work in her yard and grow beautiful flowers. She was a woman of faith and loved her Lord.

Mrs. Shaw is survived by three sons and her daughter-in-law, Michael and Christy Shaw of Tifton, Timothy Shaw and Sarah Brydon of Holt, Ga., and step-son Christopher Pearson of Tallahassee, Fl.; three grandchildren, Ryan Shaw and Alexis Harris, Raylin Shaw and Spencer Brydon; one great grandchild Jaden Shaw; her sisters and brother-in-law, Vivian Mercer and Lillian Radford both of Tifton and Wanda and Darwin Spires of Enigma; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronnie and Pam Storey and Scotty and MariAnne Storey all of Tifton.
