Nellie E. Castleberry Selph, 94, of Tifton passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, April 9, 2018 in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Reverend Keith Norris and Rev. Mike Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Tift Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 P.M., Sunday evening at Albritton Funeral Directors.
Pallbearers will be Aaron McBrayer, Richard Hall, Jonathan Outlaw, Sam McBrayer, Jimmy Castleberry, Bobby Underwood, Cayden Underwood and Kenny Barfield.
Mrs. Selph was born April 3, 1924 in Colquitt County to the late John Jerry Castleberry and Ida Norman Castleberry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn Lyman Selph who died January 31, 2001,one sister and five brothers. Mrs. Selph was a member of Eastside Baptist Church and a devoted Christian. She previously worked at Fitzgerald Underwear, Strange Pharmacy, Agrirama, and as a greeter at Walmart. She loved her family, gardening and especially growing flowers.
Mrs. Selph is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Faye and Terry Hall and Janice S. McBrayer all of Tifton, Wilma and Donnie Outlaw of Lynn Haven, Fla.; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren and one sister, Frances Sellers of Moultrie.
Albritton Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
