Michael David Buhler

Michael "Mike" David Buhler Sr., cherished husband, devoted father, and beloved grandfather, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2025, in Tifton, Georgia, at the age of 62. Born on August 25, 1962, in New Port Richey, Florida, Mike led a life filled with passion, adventure, and love for his family.

Mike was not only known for his unwavering support for the Miami Dolphins, his favorite NFL team, but also for his adventurous spirit. He found joy in exploring the depths of the ocean through scuba diving and cherished the magical moments spent at Disney World. Mike particularly adored spending time with his grand babies, creating memories that will be treasured by all who knew him. Most important to him was his faith.

He leaves behind a loving family who will remember him fondly for his kindness and dedication. His wife, Teresa Rowan Buhler, stood by his side throughout their journey together. Mike is also survived by his sons, Michael Buhler Jr., (Kayla), Mark Buhler, (Kaci) and Matthew Buhler, (Heather), along with his sister Cindy Vargas. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Emily Grace Buhler, Easton Cash Buhler, Aiden Jack Buhler, and Rollins Gray Buhler, who will carry forward his spirit of love and adventure.

Mike is preceded in death by his father, John Buhler; his mother, Carol Taylor Buhler; and his brother, Dale Buhler. The love shared within the Buhler family was a source of strength and joy throughout Mike's life.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Mike's life. Visitation will be held on January 30, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM at the Tift Avenue Church of God, located at 2220 Tift Ave, Tifton, GA 31794 with Rev. Kevin Dawson and Rev. Ray Dawson officiating. Interment to follow at Union Grove Church of God Cemetery, located at 4144 US Highway 41 South, Tifton, GA. 31794.

T.J Roberts, Brooks Martin, Josh Haynes, David Edge, Matt Cato, and Joey Parsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be James Montgomery and Scott Burgess.
