Mary "Ilene" (Cox) Walker

Mrs. Mary Ilene Cox Walker, 92, of Lenox, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Southwell Medical Center of Adel.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, November 21, 2022 in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. Ricky Wells officiating. Interment will follow at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:45 P.M. at the funeral home before the service.

Randy Hall, Terry Cox, Neil Tyson, Daniel Harrell, Justin Hale and Thomas Harrell will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Walker was born October 8, 1930 in Cook county to the late William Frank Cox and Eunie V. Stone Cox. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Earl Walker, her son, Thomas Wayne Harrell, her great grandson, Hunter Harrell and her five siblings. She loved working in her yards and cooking. Mrs. Walker loved her church and was a faithful church member all her life. She was loved by her children and grandchildren and will be missed by all.

Mrs. Walker is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Lynn Harrell of Lenox; her grandchildren, Thomas and Cathy Harrell of Adel, Holly and Neil Tyson of Omega; Daniel and Sami Harrell of Moultrie, Justin and Sara Hale of Lenox and Chris and Anna Hale of Muskogee, OK.; nine great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Tift Area, PO Box 747, 618 N. Central Avenue, Tifton, Ga. 31794.
