Mary Agnes (Sweat) Rose

Mary Agnes Rose, 90, of Columbus, passed away on April 6, 2017.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at 2pm, in Oakridge Cemetery in Tifton with Pastor Aaron Gibbs officiating.
Mrs. Rose was born on July 21, 1926 to the late Joseph and Mary Jane Jordan Sweat. She is survived by one son, David Rose, Jr.; three daughters, Delores Snow, Janet Byrnes, and Iris Gibbs; two sons-in law, Buddy Snow and Larry Byrnes; one daughter in law, Molly Day and Debra Fredericks who was like a daughter; and one sister, Jeanette Brown. She also has ten adoring grandchildren, eight of whom are married to precious ones she loved as her own, and fifteen great grandchildren that brought her great joy.
Mrs. Rose was preceded in death by six brothers, five sisters and her son-in-law, Jack Gibbs.
