Marshall Taylor Merriman

Marshall Taylor Merriman, of Tifton, 73 died on Friday, April 15, 2016 at his residence.

Mr. Merriman was born January 18, 1943, in Chattanooga TN, to the late Herbert and Edna White Merriman.

Mr. Merriman  served in the U.S. Navy and was a long distance truck driver for most of his life.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son, Herbert Dale Merriman.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Karen Faye Gravett Merriman; one son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Yanice Merriman of Brandon, Fla.; one sister and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Talmadge Pennington of Orlando Fl.; and one granddaughter.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
