Mr. Mark Edward Youngblood, 67, of Chula passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021 at his residence.
A Visitation will be held at Albritton Funeral Directors on Sunday, January 9, 2022 from 2:00 to 3:15 P.M. A Memorial service will be held at 3:30 P.M. with Mr. Jamie Horton and Mr. Mark Lyles officiating.
Mr. Youngblood was born October 13, 1954 in DeKalb County to the late J. E. Youngblood and Doris Melton Youngblood. He was a 1973 graduate from Southwest High School in Macon. He was retired after thirty-seven years from Pet Dairy Company as District Manager. Mr. Youngblood was owner of the Chula General Store from 2012 to 2017. He liked to play golf, fish and visit with his buddies. He was very well known in the community.
Mr. Youngblood is survived by his wife, Gail Fletcher Youngblood of Chula; his son and daughter-in-law, Jamie “Stump” and Kristie Horton of Lenox and his three grandsons, Chase, B. B. and Noah. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Phyllis Youngblood of Texas and his sister and brother-in-law, Mitzi and Tony Turner of South Carolina and numerous nieces and nephews.
