Maria Isabel Salazar, 78, of Omega died Monday, April 18, 2016 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 22, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Our Divine Saviour Catholic Church with Father Justin Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow at Omega Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Albritton Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Salazar was born July 8, 1937 in Estosion Canales Tamaulipas, Mexico to the late Antonio and Maria Delion Jimenez.
Mrs. Salazar was a housewife for most of her life. She loved to cook and garden.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Salazar was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Salazar.
Mrs. Salazar is survived by her three daughters, Teresa Salazar of Omega, Maria O. Salazar of Albany, and Rosa I. Perez of Omega; her four sons, Jose Salazar of Omega, Juan M. Salazar of Norman Park, Jose G. Salazar of Ocala Florida and Juan A. Salazar of Mexico; twenty six grandchildren and thirty seven great grandchildren.
