Mrs. Margaret “Maggie” North, 76 of Chula, Georgia died on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be held in Mt. Zion Church Cemetery 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 17, 2017 with Rev. Larry Layfield officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday evening at Albritton Funeral Directors from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
Mrs. North was born on September 22, 1941 to the late Summer “Red” Ammons and Myrtle Ammons in Tarpon Springs, FL. She was preceded in death by her son Robert “Bobby” North. She had lived in Tift County since 1978 and she was an active member of Mt. Zion Baptist church. She loved riding horses, sewing, cooking and being a mother and housewife. She was the previous owner of The Bakery Boutique in Ashburn.
Survivors include her husband Robert Leroy North, Jr., son, John Richard North of Tifton, daughter and son-in-law Barbara Jean and Thomas Romig of Inaha, four grandchildren, Thomas and Amanda Marie Romig, Matthew Scott Romig, Amanda Jean and Justin Hudson and Leah Mobley along with several great grandchildren.
