Lorine "Granny" (Crosby) Smith

Mrs. Lorine “Granny” Crosby Smith, 84, of Tifton, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022 at Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete

Mrs. Smith was born December 15, 1937 in Colquitt County to the late Anzie James Crosby, Sr., and Zoar Thomas Crosby. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Smith and her daughter, Cathy Strickland and three siblings. Mrs. Smith was a member of Victory Baptist Church of Tifton. Her favorite singers were Conway Twitty and Patsy Cline. She loved traveling especially to Panama City Beach and Daytona Beach. She raised her only grandchild who she loved dearly.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her granddaughter, Hope and Andrew Cole of Tifton; two great grandchildren, Noah Cole and Alexander Cole; her sisters Barbara Pridgen of Nashville and Alene Bailey of Plant City, Florida.
