Lionel Gerald Wilson, Jr.

Mr. Lionel Gerald Wilson, Jr., 65, of Tifton, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM in Turner Church Cemetery with Rev. Pete Jones officiating.

Mr. Wilson was born May 23, 1954 in Tift County to the late Lionel Gerald Wilson, Sr., and Geneva Barnes Wilson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Geneva Ardelia Wilson and his infant sister.  Mr. Wilson graduated from Ga. Military High School in Milledgeville and attended ABAC and Valdosta State College. He was a self-employed construction worker and enjoyed fishing and traveling.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his son Lionel Gerald and Tarah Wilson, III of Tifton; his daughter Jessica Roughton of California; two grandsons; his half brother Kelly Wilson of Cochran, Georgia; his Aunt Mary Ann Bar-Or of Enigma.
