Lillian Allene Davis, 97, went peacefully to her Heavenly reward, on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia.
A funeral service will be held at Albritton Funeral Directors at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. A visitation for family and friends will be held before the service on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 1:00 to 2:45 P.M.
Allene was born September 17, 1923 in Wheeler County, Georgia to the late John Franklin Smith and Dollie Hood Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Juston Realiford Davis, a son and daughter-in-law, Freddie and Beverly Davis, daughter, Myra Haynes, grandchild, Christopher Davis and one great grandchild, as well as a sister, Elnita Simmons and brother, Charlie Smith.
Allene is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Pat Davis; a daughter and son-in-law, Betty and James Coressel; fourteen grandchildren, Darrin, Jody (Kristie), Russell, Chastidy (Kevin), Christy (Dennis), Tabitha (Shannon), Kimberly, Tiffanie, Shannon, Robby (Lynn), Stephen (Carrie), Brandi (John), Andrew (Elly), and Justin, as well as numerous great grandchildren; a sister, Rita Chappell of Tifton and son-in-law, Billy Haynes.
She worked alongside of her husband in their business, Davis Scrap and Metal Company for close to 40 years. Anyone that knew her, could tell that she loved her husband and family and strove to make a wonderful home for them. ‘
