Leroy Glenn Jordan, 73, of Tifton, died Thursday, September 29, 2016 at his residence.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 03, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Albritton Funeral Directors in the Chapel with Rev. Mark Hancock and Rev. Josh Gill officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 02, 2016 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
Jeremy Westberry, Walt Parks, Tyler Jordan, Tyler Franks, Paco Castillo, Rogert Beggs and Troy West will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Jordan was born on April 14, 1943 to the late Leroy and Anne Clark Jordan in Daytona Beach, Fla. He was married to Martha Leach Jordan.
Mr. Jordan graduated from Columbus High School and later received his Associates degree from Columbus College. He also graduated from RHEMA Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, OK.
Mr. Jordan worked for two years with his father at Bi-City Acoustical Ceilings in Columbus. He then worked for over 30 years for Aflac, many of those years as the district manager in Columbus. Mr. Jordan held prison evangelistic services in Georgia and Florida, pastored the Word of Life Church in Lilburn, Georgia, developed, pastored and taught at Word of Faith Bible Institute in Dallas, TX and later developed and pastored Word of Life Bible Training Center in Tifton, Georgia. The love of his life was sharing Jesus, his Savior with others.
Mr. Jordan is survived by his daughter, Dawn and Stephen Saasen of Broken Arrow, OK; three sons, Tim and Laura Jordan of Hamilton, GA, Mark and Shelley Jordan of Marietta, and Mike and Michelle Jordan of Acworth; Sheryl and Walt Parks of Cochran, Scott and Charlene Sumner of Albemarle, NC; one sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Guy Wilson of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Stephanie Saasen, Hannah Saasen, Kayla Bradley, Tyler Jordan, Isabel Jordan, Emma Jordan, Mason Jordan, Madilynn Jordan, Samantha Jordan, Adam Sumner, Anna Grace Sumner, Elizabeth Parks, Ethan Park, Eli Parks, Lacey Franks, Jeremy and Tammy Westberry; and five great grandchildren, Charlotte Bradley, Tyler Franks, Kylie Franks, Maddox Westberry and William Jeffords.
Mr. Jordan was preceded in death by daughter, Suzanne Hogan and his brother, Dennis Jordan.
