Kyle Brooks

John Kyle Brooks, 55, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held  2:00 P.M. on Tuesday December 5, 2017 at Albritton Funeral Directors with Pastor Todd Brooks officiating.  Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 1:30 P.M. before the service on Tuesday.

Adam Brooks, Tyler Rice, Caleb Rice, David Brooks, Mike Ellis and Marc Harrelson will serve as pallbearers.

Kyle was born in Colquitt County on December 10, 1961 to Joan Barksdale Brooks and the late Charles L. Brooks. He was married to the love of his life, Debrah Laramore Brooks for thirty-six years.

Kyle was self-employed general contractor.  As an outdoors man, he loved to fish at Keaton Beach, FL, tend to his vegetable garden and ride around in the neighborhood on his golf cart.  He loved his family and his Jack Russell dog, Chleo aka Turbo. Kyle was known as a hardworking and very honest man.  He graduated from Tift County High School in 1979 and he was a member of Northside Baptist Church,

Kyle is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jessie and Austin Marchant of Tifton; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Patricia Brooks, Sidney and Margie Brooks all of Tifton; one sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lisa and Josh Jordan of Tifton; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bobby and Brenda Laramore of Hudson, FL. and numerous nieces and nephews.
