Horace Kevin Baldree, 51 of St. Augustine, FL formerly of Tifton, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022 with his family and two life long friends by his side at Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine, FL
A memorial service will be held at Albritton Funeral Directors Chapel on Wednesday evening, June 8, 2022 at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Jason Wade officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home lobby, after the service.
Kevin was the oldest son of Horace Baldree and the late Sandra Newbern Baldree. He was born in Valdosta, GA on November 19, 1970. After the family moved to Tifton, Kevin was employed at Piggly Wiggly grocery store and that is where his love for the produce business began. He worked as a produce manager at various locations throughout southern Georgia. In 2012 he relocated to St. Augustine, Fl where he worked as a produce broker for The Garden Produce of Jacksonville, FL. Kevin developed many friendships during his time in the grocery industry, so his early grocery associates carried over into his current position. He graduated from Tift County High School in 1989. After graduating high school, he and his best friend Rev. Jason Wade co-founded Abundant Life Worship Center in 2005 where he served as the associate pastor and Pastor Jason’s Armour Bearer.
Although Kevin lived in Florida, he continued to be an avid Georgia Bulldog and Atlanta Brave fan. You could take Kevin out of Georgia but not the Georgia out of Kevin. The most important treasures in Kevin's life was God, his children, GA Bulldogs and his friends. The proudest he ever was when he talked of his children,.
He was survived by his wife Lisa Holstein, his two daughters Abigail and her husband Reece Predmore of San Antonio, TX, and Amelia Baldree of St. Augustine, FL, and his son Ethan Baldree of the U. S. Air Force, his grand daughter Laurel Predmore, his sister and her husband Lynn and John Kofler of St. Augustine, FL and his brother J. J. and his wife Shannon Baldree of Navarre Beach, FL, his step-daughter, Vanessa Vandevander and her husband Austin of St. Augustine, Fl., along with numerous nieces and nephews.
