Kenneth James Malloy of Chula, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at his residence.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 30 in Oakridge Cemetery with Elder Charles Tyson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm on Friday, September 29 at the funeral home.
Mr. Malloy was born on August 25, 1945 in Terrell County to Dorothy Dean Herrington Malloy of Ocilla and the late Allie B. Malloy who died May 26, 2005. Mr. Malloy had lived in Tift County since he was twelve years of age and formerly worked for Lever and Tucker construction companies and later Turner Furniture Company. He loved hunting, fishing and his family. He was a member of River of Life Church of Tifton and was a soldier for his savior.
In addition to his Mother, he is survived by one daughter, Tammy Barela of Tifton; three grandchildren, Jordan Barela, Mikayla Barela and Meliah Barela; one brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Gail Malloy of New Palestine, Indiana; one sister, Kay Malloy of Fitzgerald.
Mr. Malloy was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Gene Malloy.
