Kathy (Heard) Houle

Kathy Heard Houle, 62, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, November 19th at Albritton Funeral Directors chapel with Rev. Marvin Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Waterloo Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the funeral home.

Jeromy Mullis, Matthew Mullis, Chase Mullis, Jamie Day, Steve Register and Cameron Cox will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Houle was born October 7, 1955 in Tift County to the late Alus “Dock” Heard and Lela Hagan Heard. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church, Enigma, was a licensed ordained minister and loved her Lord. She attended Irwin County schools and ABAC. She loved her family, gardening (especially flowers), butterflies and pastel colors.

Mrs. Houle is survived by her husband, Arthur Jerome Houle of Chula; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Jeromy and Wendi Mullis of Waterloo, Jamie and Stacie Mullis of Brookfield, Justin Houle of Tifton; one daughter, Mindy Houle of Tifton; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Glenda Heard of Waterloo; one sister and brother-in-law, Lutrelle and Raymond Sirmans of Tifton. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Trey Dennard.
