Kathi Lynn Stinnett passed away peacefully on August 20 2024, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Born on April 4, 1959, in Columbia, Mississippi, Kathi was known for her vibrant personality and unwavering dedication to her family and friends.

Kathi's career spanned over two decades at Merck Pharmaceuticals, where she worked diligently in the Engineering department for 22 years. Her professional journey also included a role at Albany Marine Corps Logistics Command as an expediter, where she currently worked from 2017 to 2024.

Beyond her professional achievements, Kathi was driven by her passions and interests. An avid reader, she found joy in the pages of countless books, including her Bible as she was a woman of strong faith. She also embraced her role as a caregiver, offering love and support to her husband, Randy Alan Stinnett. Her nurturing nature was further reflected in her devotion to her children and grandchildren; Kathi cherished the time spent with Gabriel Breakfield and his wife Marlyses, as well as with Dustin Stinnett and his wife Brooke. Kathi’s legacy continues through her grandchildren, including Unesies Williams, Warren Breakfield, and Elli Stinnett, along with four great-grandchildren, each of whom she adored deeply.

Kathi was also celebrated for her passion for gardening, possessing a green thumb that allowed her to cultivate a beautiful array of flowers. Her love for maintaining a vibrant garden reflected her love of life, as did her enthusiasm for staying busy and engaged in everything she did.

She is survived by her loving husband Randy Alan Stinnett, children Gabriel Breakfield and his wife Marlyses, Dustin Stinnett and his wife Brooke, grandchildren, Unesies Williams, Warren Breakfield, and Elli Stinnett and her four great-grandchildren. Kathi is also remembered lovingly by her mother, Katherine Maxwell Kendrick; her brother, Dwaine Kendrick; and her sisters, Shelia Sumrall and Debra Thornhill. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Vennis Kendrick; her sister, Nelia Batson; and her brother, Dwight Kendrick.

A private family graveside service to celebrate Kathi's life will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church Cemetery in Columbia, Mississippi.

Kathi Lynn Stinnett leaves behind a remarkable legacy of love, dedication, and warmth that will forever remain etched in the hearts of those who knew her.
