John Wesley Stoner, III

Tifton -   John Wesley Stoner, III, 66 of Tifton died Monday, January 7, 2019.

A memorial visitation will be held at Albritton Funeral Directors on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.,

Mr. Stoner was born to the late John Wesley Stoner, Jr. and Doris Carolyn Webster Stoner on March 16, 1952.  Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Lori Stoner Nichols who died in 2008.  Mr. Stoner had lived in Tifton since 2009. He was a retired truck driver and an avid football fan who loved to read and hunt.  He was of the Baptist faith and loved his family especially his great nieces and great nephews. He enjoyed playing cards with his many friends.

He survivors are his two nieces and their spouses; Chryssi and Roy Harper and Char and Michael Wise all of Tifton, his nephew and his wife; Dale and Lisa Nichols; six great nieces and nephews;Matthew Wise, Jacee Harper, Jade Harper, Luke Wise, Tanner Wise, and Shelbi Dee Wise.

The family wishes to give special thanks to Desiree Cook and her family for taking care of his needs.
