Jesse Jasper Holder

Jesse Jasper Holder, 94, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

Mr. Holder was born August 23, 1928 in Cobb County, Georgia to the late James McClure Holder and Ollie Powell Holder. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Black Holder and his five siblings. He graduated Cobb County High School and attended Georgia Tech.  He served in the United States Navy and then after service he started working for Sears and Roebuck as a service repairman until 1992.

Mr. Holder enjoyed deer hunting and fishing.  His neighbors always knew if they had a building project, they could depend on him to help them.  He enjoyed working in his wood shop carving animal figures, ducks and birds.  He was very creative and technology savvy.

Mr. Holder is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Craig Fleck of Locust Grove, Georgia and his two sons and daughters-in-law, Jay and Leslie Holder of Ashburn, Georgia and Jeff and Joan Holder of Osco, California; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family request requests donations be made to St. Jude Tribute Program, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN. 38148-0142.
