Chula – Mr. Jerome “Jerry” Hilliard Harris, 75, of Chula, died Saturday, February 25, 2017, at his residence.
Services will be private.
Mr. Harris was born on August 2, 1941 to the late Robert Clark Harris and Mamie Maynard Harris in Phoenix, AZ. He was married to the late Barbara Armstrong Harris who died on March 31, 2012. He had served in the United States Marine Corp. and he was a retired Eastern Airlines Mechanic.
He is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Lu and Roy Huang of Tifton, Jeanette and Mark Henry of Marshallville, N. C. and Mary and Walter Smith of Richmond Hill; his grandchildren, Zachary and Crystal Smith, Emanuel and Jenny Henry, Danaan Henry, Cady Henry, Adrian Buck, Liam Matheson, Erin and Joseph Ferry, Yi Huang and Henry Huang and eight great-grandchildren.
