Jerome "JAY" Ernest Harvey, III

Mr. Jerome Ernest Harvey, III, 61 of Tifton formerly of Athens, died Friday, October 7, 2022 at Harborview Senior Care in Tifton.

A family service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Harvey was known as Jay by his friends and family. He was the son of Jerome E. Harvey, Jr. and Lucy Bouldin Harvey and born on November 18, 1960 in Hawkinsville, GA.  He graduated Turner County High School and attended ABAC. He had a larger than life personality.  Most of his adult life he worked in the construction business and he was certified by SCAD in Savannah to remodel historic buildings.

He is survived by his son and daughter -in-law, Jerome “Jaime” E. Harvey, IV and Sam of Tifton, his grandchildren, Madelyn Kathryn Harvey, Abraham Ishmael Harvey and David Gabriel Harvey, and his brother Bill Harvey of Ashburn.
