Jeremiah “Lottie” Lottyn Bates, 18, of Tifton died Wednesday, February 08, 2017 at Tift Regional Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life service in colorful clothing will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 4 pm in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors.
Lottie was born on September 14, 1998 in Albany to George Edgar Bates, IV and Magaen Fowler Bates of Tifton. He lived in Tifton since 2005 and was a student of Northeast Campus of Tift County High School. Lottie enjoyed riding the golf cart, socializing on his I-pad, playing Legos with his brother and sister, playing with his Golden Doodle, Hazel, watching Family Feud and Ellen DeGeneres Show, and he was a UNO champion. He was happiest when he was at school among his friends and attending MDA camp in the summers.
In addition to his parents, Lottie is survived by his sister, Lily Grace Bates and his brother, Owen Parker Bates, both of Tifton; a large number of family and friends; his best friend for life, Jennifer Chastain and his dogs, Hazel and Finley.
