Jed Earl Jackson

Mr. Jed Earl Jackson, 62, of Brookfield passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 at his residence.

A graveside memorial service will be held, Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. at Tift Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Jackson was born December 25, 1958 in Easton, Maryland to the late Kenneth Scott Jackson and Louise Whitby Jackson.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Norma Jean Jackson. Mr. Jackson was a member of Northside Baptist Church of Tifton where he served faithfully in the media department. He was a truck driver for R & L Carriers of Cordele where he was a dedicated worker. Mr. Jackson loved his family and his church and was so proud to be a new grandpa. He loved family vacations and the beach.

Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife, Dana Alaine Whitley Jackson of Brookfield; his children, James Kennedy Jackson and Emily Gossett of Holiday, FL and Whitley Jackson and Anthony Gonzales of Brookfield; one granddaughter, Sophia Jackson and one grandson, Graham Jackson; two brothers, Howard Jackson of Preston, Maryland and Scott Jackson of Tifton; two sisters, Linda Jackson Boyer of Brookfield and Joan Jackson of Ridgley, Maryland and his mother-in-law, Mildred Gregory.
