James William (AKA "Jake Slater") Sinyard

Mr. James William Sinyard, Sr. aka “Jake Slater” died Saturday. January 8, 2022, in Tifton GA.

A memorial visitation will be held on January 11, 2022, Tuesday evening at Albritton Funeral Directors from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.

Jake was born on February 9, 1978 in Perry, GA to Ricky Fordham and Regina Sinyard Vaughan.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents; maternal grandfather, James Hoyt Sinyard and his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Velma Fordham.

He had lived in the Tifton area for six years after moving to Tifton from Hawkinsville.  He was employed at Mastercraft as the plant manager.   Jake was a professional wrestler and musician.  He wrestled in the ‘Indies’ and people from all around enjoyed his singing.  Jake loved his family and especially his son Dalton.  He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing.  He had many friends who loved him dearly.

He is survived by his parents;Regina Vaughan of Ty Ty and Ricky and Beth Fordham of Eastman; his wife, Pam Bennett of Enigma; sons, Dalton Sinyard of Enigma and Jamie and Kendra Hester of Tifton; daughters, Amber and Dillon Bunce of New York, Sara and Deserae Estes of Enigma,  and Ashley and Justin Hilton of Tifton; sisters, Mindy Hoven of Eastman, and Torshi Vaughan of Enigma; brothers, Randy Gray of Tifton, Greg and Payton Vaughan of Tifton, Christopher and Victoria Vaughan and Matt and Jessica Fordham of Cochran; his grandmother, Virginia Sinyard; six grandchildren, along with several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews
