Jacky Dean Doles

J acky Dean Doles, 59, of Tifton passed away Sunday, August 07, 2016 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with the Rev. Jack Perrin officiating. Interment will follow at Tift Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday, August 09, 2016 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.

Andy Luke, Wayne Luke, Johnny Tawzer, Glen Griffin, Carl Harris, Jarrett Harris and Justin Harris will serve as pallbearers. Mr. Jacky’s co-workers at Tift County Road Department will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Mr. Doles was born on April 08, 1957 to the late Otis Howard Doles and Jeanette Tanner Doles in Tift County. He graduated from Tift County High School in 1975 and he later worked as a heavy equipment operator for the Tift County Road Department for many years. Mr. Doles enjoyed fishing, hunting, Nascar racing and drag racing. One of his favorite past times was riding on his golf cart with his dog “Luke”.

Along with his mother, Jeanette Doles, Mr. Doles is survived by his three sisters and one brother-in-law; Charlotte Cranford of Tifton, Connie and Wayne Luke of Nashville and Carla Doles of Tifton, his nephew, Andy and Jennifer Luke of Ray City, his niece; Jennifer Daniels of Nashville,  his two great nephews; Tait and John Luke Daniels, and his great niece Rylee Daniels.

Mr. Doles was preceded in death by his brother, Keith Doles who died in 1985.
